You may have seen our pledge on our Christmas e-card to make a charity donation to the value of the money saved by sending our christmas cards via email.  We are pleased to advise that for 2009 we were able to make a dontation of £300 to the NSPCC.

The NSPCC was founded in 1884, with the aim of protecting children from cruelty.  Since then, they have used direct action, legislative campaigning and public awareness campaigns to highlight issues and work to protect as many children as possible.  The ChildLine childrens telephone support line offers free and confidential advice, 24 hours a day, and took in excess of 500,000 calls last year. They also have been running the "FULL STOP" campaign since 1999, raising awareness of child cruelty using television advertising, billboards, press and online.
