Update from Rio Carnival

We have had an update from Lucy, who is recently left Synergy to start a year-long round the world trip:
"Well here is a quick update for you... arrived in Rio and its been about 38 degrees everyday so very hot! Ive been enjoying the carnival and street parties that go on throughout the day and night. Have been up by train to see [the famous statue of] Christ - what a view, it was amazing. I also went up Sugar Loaf, which is just two rocks joined by cable cars, and watched the sun set over the city - I could not get over the size of the place! Last night we went and watched the Rio Carnival, which started at 7pm and finished at 7am - the colour and noise of it was just brilliant.
I will send you on some photos as soon as I have worked out how to download them."
